1. MR JUSTICE GOSS: In this application for an extension interim order imposed on the respondent restricting her registration as a nurse, I am satisfied for the reasons set out in the applicant's skeleton argument and developed during the course of the helpful oral submissions of Miss Fleck to me today that it is appropriate, applying the principles of General Medical Council v Hiew [2007] EWCA Civ 369 , to extend the order for the period that is requested. 2. I also note that the respondent has given formal consent to such extension. She is able to work as a nurse but not as a midwife by reason of the incident that gives rise to the investigation. 3. I therefore will make the order that is sought. The interim order is to be extended to 4pm on 18 May 2015. The respondent has permission on giving 3 days' written notice to the applicant to apply to the court to vary and discharge this order and there will be no order as to costs. 4.
